Capture clean, professional audio in demanding outdoor environments with the Auray WSS-2014 Professional Shotgun Microphone Windshield. Designed to deliver full 360° wind protection, this windshield dramatically reduces broadband wind noise and vocal pops while maintaining excellent acoustic transparency. It features a specially engineered open-cell foam core wrapped in 25mm simulated rabbit fur, creating a controlled airspace that lowers wind velocity without muffling sound. An airtight tapered rubber base seals the rear of the microphone for enhanced isolation and rear wind protection. With a 14cm internal depth, the WSS-2014 is ideal for shotgun microphones measuring 19–23mm in diameter, making it perfect for film, video, and field recording.
