We chose high-quality wood types to build the body of your Ukulele - The top of the ukulele is SOLID Mahogany and the back & sides of it are Mahogany! These woods not only look incredible, they are also great tonewoods. The Fingerboard is made of Walnut as well & the neck of the ukulele is made of Nato. Walnut is a popular wood used in many musical instruments, including guitars. Classical Guitar Headstock - a unique classy design available only in the Hola! Music Professional Series. Aquila Strings. We installed Premium Italian Aquila Strings to ensure this ukulele produces the best sound possible. Aquila Strings are very popular and any experienced player would recommend it. The Nut in this ukulele is made out of Ox bone. In most ukuleles out there, the nut is made out of plastic. The nut directly influences the tone and sound of the ukulele as it is in direct contact with the strings!
