The Battery Protect disconnects the battery from non-essential loads before it is completely discharged (which would damage the battery) or before it has insufficient power left to crank the engine. Only select the Li-lon mode if your BMS has a load disconnect and/or a charge disconnect output. This is usually not the case for so-called drop-in batteries with internal BMS. For lithium batteries/BMS without a load disconnect output, select mode A or B instead. The Battery Protect features four 5.5 mm holes for mounting purposes, located on the base of the Device. The holes can be used to screw or bolt the BatteryProtect onto a hard surface
